PlayDog

Our family-owned company was established in 1988 and has over 30 years of experience creating natural rubber products. With that experience behind us, PlayDog offers toys for play and training that are durable, high-quality, and safe for the teeth and health of your pets. Each toy is made with love and attention to detail - just as we would make it for our own furry friends.

About Us

The development of PlayDog began by listening to the problems of dog lovers who couldn’t find a suitable toy that would last for months and combining the love for dogs and passion for craftsmanship. The founder, the son of an experienced rubber maker, merged his love for pets and family tradition to create our first toy – the Pull, which was awarded the EU innovation medal! From that moment on, our dedication to quality and innovation became our guiding principle. We aimed to exceed expectations with each new toy for dogs we created and provide our furry friends with fun, durable, and safe dog toys.

Experience and tradition

This passion and dedication have brought us to the peak of the dog toy industry, where each of our creations is the result of years of experience, tradition, and care for pets. Even today, with each new toy we craft, with each new dog that plays with our product, PlayDog’s mission is reaffirmed: to enrich every dog’s life through fun and provide owners with peace and satisfaction, knowing they have chosen the best for their beloved pet.

The Importance of Play for Dogs
(and You!)

Play is not just about fun – it has numerous benefits for your dog’s physical and mental health and your interaction with them. Here’s why play is so important:

01

Stimulates Physical Activity

Active play is an excellent way for your dog to stay in shape. It also encourages your own physical activity, allowing you both to enjoy movement together. Furthermore, there’s a saying: “A tired dog is a good dog” – regular play helps release excess energy, resulting in a calmer and happier dog.

02

Stimulates Mental Abilities

Play, such as frisbee throwing or hiding treats, stimulates mental engagement in dogs. These activities help your dog develop focus and use their sense of smell, increasing their mental agility and intelligence.

03

Reduces Stress and Improves Mood

Play is a natural stress reliever for your dog, but also for you. Studies have shown that interacting with dogs, including playtime, can reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression in people. Likewise, play helps dogs release tension and improve their mood.

04

Strengthens the Bond Between Dog and Owner

Play is a great way to create and maintain a strong bond between you and your dog. Through play, you show your dog that you love and care for them, which strengthens their attachment to you.

05

Aids in Training

Play can be a powerful tool for training. Through play, you can show your dog what behaviors and activities you approve of, which increases their willingness to learn and follow rules.
